AT&T Service
This phone operates on GSM 850/1800/1900 networks and can handle high-speed data connectivity via AT&T's EDGE network (which stands for "Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution"), with availability in more than 13,000 US cities and along some 40,000 miles of major highways. This third-generation, high-speed, mobile data and Internet access technology is fast enough to support a wide range of advanced data services (with average data speeds between 75-135Kbps), including video and music clips, full picture and video messaging, high-speed color Internet access, and email on the go.

The phone has a built-in web browser for MEdia Net downloads and mobile web browsing. AT&T's MEdia Net service enables you to receive and send emails, read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more. The AT&T Mobile Music platform includes the ability to sideload music with Napster and eMusic with the built-in Pocket Tunes Deluxe application, listen to live radio with XM Radio Mobile, discover new songs with MusicID and more. You can also access XM Radio Mobile, which provides 25 of the best XM Radio channels, featuring commercial-free rock, hip-hop, country, jazz and more (additional monthly fee; free three-day trial included).

It's also pre-loaded with AT&T's Mobile Banking application, which is compatible with accounts from banks including Wachovia, SunTrust, Synovus, and BancorpSouth. Mobile Banking from AT&T affords you the flexibility to stay on top of your banking needs while you're on the move, enabling you to check your account balance, securely transfer funds between your eligible accounts, view and pay bills, and review your transaction history. AT&T customers pay no additional fee to access mobile banking and, because the application resides on the handset, the service is optimized to reduce the number of new page views necessary to complete a transaction. Minimal data usage charges apply and vary based on individual use.

The phone also includes a built-in FM radio with RDS, which displays the name of the currently playing song (when tuned to compatible radio stations).

You can connect your laptop (either via Bluetooth or wired USB) and enjoy dial-up networking--surf the Internet, send email, and access files from a server.

Support is built in for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, and sound via MMS messages. When used in combination with the phone's built-in still and video camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging possibilities. What Customers Say About Sony Ericsson W350 Phone, Ice Blue (AT&T):

i currently have this phone duct taped in three places and it will have to stay there for another two years til the three year contract is up so i can get a new phone. now everyone i know with this phone has the flip part of their phone breaking.

The problem I have had with it, and so have three of my friends that ended up with the same phone, is that if you drop it anywhere a piece breaks off. This phone's technology is better than the blackberry and the other free phones.

the backing to the battery is so loose anytime someone drops it, the battery comes out. I have the copper and black one and the copper edging of the phone on the two sides came off the first time i dropped it.

and i dropped it on carpet. the plasic is so thin on this phone is might as well be glass.

i hated this phone.

And 2 face the screen towards your leg in your pocket. I am personally confused on how people say the flip part breaks my job includes crawling through crawl spaces and attics (HVAC Installer). True the w350 is not the best phone ever but honestly it was never meant to be if you want a better phone sony does make better ones. I think part of the problem is people are brain washed into thinking you should be able to drop your phone numerous times a day and still be able to use it. And this phone is fine if you exercise some common sense. 1 PUT A SCREEN PROTECTOR ON IT. So yeah this phone is not the best but it you look for flaws in everything your going to find them. Just my 2 cents.

I was not at all impressed with this phone. Mine broke off in about a month.

It is so small. I got this phone as a free upgrade.

The flip cover is very flimsy. I have small hands but these buttons were even too small for me.

Definitely not a good phone for someone with bigger hands. To listen to music you have to buy special ear buds, it was not even worht it.

After it broke I went back to using my Motorola Razor.

OK so I love this phone but there is one major problem that I have had with it and other people have had with it, and that is the cover on the phone Cracks and then breaks off just from normal use. this means you can not lock the keys when it is your pocket, how bad is it my 3rd phone is being shipped to me right now and I only got the first phone six months ago. they even tried to charge me $65 for the first one I sent back, and they were not going to let me send the second one back, but I got the right person on the line and then I had to go into the at&t store to have them tell the non native English speaker at the other end of the phone that it was not my fault that it broke. I tried to get a totally different phone but the guy on the other end said it was the only one I could get, so now every three months I am going to go in and get a new phone and make at&t pay for it

The buttons are small and difficult to push, unless you have styli-type nails. I see why this phone is "free" because it is not really functional as a phone. I never used the MP3 option, but my assumption is that that is what the true appeal to this "phone" is. This phone is so light and flimsy, I was afraid to carry it in my purse. The battery cover seems like it is cover to crack off. As a phone, I would say it does not make the grade, other then that fact, I hear the callers very well. As a MP3 player, I suspect it is great only because it is a terrible phone functionally (what other function could this blob of plastic serve).
